The hands that serve…

Considering that it’s Mandela month, and many of us are trying to honour him while others tend to think that praying is enough. Now lets just go back, and recap, why do we pray? I would think that prayer is a way of reaching God or the higher divinities – for yourself and others in a spiritual way.

To make a difference, you need to go out there, roll-up your sleeves and get down to work. Ever heard of the saying “Be the change you want to see“? Well, if you want to see change, make change, be the change, lead by example. Always remember that if you help one person, just ONE, that’s change. That’s making a difference. And never stop there.

“The purpose of life is not to be happy. It is to be useful, to be honorable, to be compassionate, to have it make some difference that you have lived and lived well.”
― Ralph Waldo Emerson
